The gene search allows you to search for features in a specific set of organisms. Use the GenomeControl to select the organisms you want to search. Specify search terms in the KeywordBox.

This search returns a list of genes. Use the SubsystemFilter to specify that only genes within a specified subsystem should be returned by the search. Not all subsystems occur in all genomes, so if you use the subsystem filter and you are only selecting a small number of organisms, you may end up without any results.

The GeneDisplayOptions allow you to specify how the features returned from the search are displayed.

As always, use the green button to start the search.
